Yangning Zhang (张杨宁) received her BS in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University in 2016 and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021. She worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto from 2021 to 2025. Dr Zhang’s research interests focus on the synthesis, assembly, and functionalization of semiconductor quantum dots for optoelectronic and energy conversion applications.

张杨宁,2016年本科毕业于天津大学,获化学工程与工艺学士学位(导师:巩金龙教授)。期间前往美国哈佛大学工程与应用科学系开展本科毕业论文工作(导师:Xin Li教授)。2021年毕业于美国德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校,获化学工程博士学位(导师:Brian A. Korgel教授,美国国家工程院院士)。2021-2025年在加拿大多伦多大学开展博士后研究(合作导师:Edward H. Sargent教授,加拿大工程院院士,加拿大皇家科学院院士)。2025年5月回国加入天津大学化工学院巩金龙教授课题组,任英才副教授。
张杨宁主要围绕面向光电与能源化工应用的半导体量子点精准合成、组装与性能调控开展研究,迄今发表SCI论文22篇,其中以第一作者(含共一)在Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.(3篇)、Adv. Mater.(1篇)、Chem. Mater.(3篇)等刊物发表论文10篇。曾获麻省理工学院评选的“2023 Rising Stars in Chemical Engineering”称号、德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校评选的美国海军研究奖、美国菲利普斯化工奖学金以及天津大学优秀毕业生、天津大学李曙森校长奖学金等奖励和荣誉。现任Renewables和Transactions of Tianjin University(天津大学学报英文版)青年编委。
